Why must I add a description?

    Shouldn't it be optional to include a "Description" or not? I think, as in this thread, the title says it all and there is no need to add one, yet it won't let me post anything unless I put one in there.</p>

    Also, is there anyway I can view all the forums on a single page? Like some sort of forum index? </p>

    Look at the home page. The descriptions really do help a lot and you only have to use em if you start a thread.</p>

    I made a forums index page, but it's incredibly long and takes a long time to load. I'm thinking about ways to trim that down, it is a good idea.</p>

    I was confused as to why as well, but it's really not that big of a deal.</p>

    And basically the index is the drop-down lists at the top.</p>

    If you just add a space in that field you don't need to add one...
