There are a few worrying signs at Chelsea. Their defensive play, especially with the absence of Terry is excellent, but they need to break quickly and attack a lot better. Mikel thinks he's playing Rugby! He passes backwards every time he gets the ball. Ballack was utterly useless and a liability against Porto, and someone needs to give him a good kick up the backside. He lacks even the basics at the moment.

    Schevshenko looked outstanding.

I don't think Ballack is useless, I just fear that he is not motivated. He has proven that he is very good in the past. The kick in the backside does seem a reasonable solution, though.

Instead of paying him millions why not put him on performance related pay. That would soon sort him out he'd be broke in no time. [IMG]
