There are a few worrying signs at Chelsea. Their defensive play, especially with the absence of Terry is excellent, but they need to break quickly and attack a lot better. Mikel thinks he's playing Rugby! He passes backwards every time he gets the ball. Ballack was utterly useless and a liability against Porto, and someone needs to give him a good kick up the backside. He lacks even the basics at the moment. Schevshenko looked outstanding.
I don't think Ballack is useless, I just fear that he is not motivated. He has proven that he is very good in the past. The kick in the backside does seem a reasonable solution, though.
Instead of paying him millions why not put him on performance related pay. That would soon sort him out he'd be broke in no time.
LOL, anway, for the way we were playing i have to say we are doing very well. i still think we will win the Carling Cup this Sunday.
