It's been a very long time since I've seen ANY centre half have such a torrid time, let alone the World Player of the Year! Senderos has had a tough time against Drogba over the last 18 months, but this was different. It was the captain of the World Champions. One of the finest, if not THE finest defender in the World. I know he's coming to the of his career, but I think it was a great illustration of how ggod Torres is. He was quick, direst, great in the air, strong on the ball, took defenders on, and to top it all off scored the first goal of the night. Larsson's off home to Sweden, Saha blows hot and cold. Torres could be the answer. Rooney, Ronaldo, Torres. Sounds good righ?!
