<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When the Heat takes the floor next season, will forward Eddie Jones be on the roster? The Miami Herald reports that after Jones' injury-riddled season, which ended with a March 3 sprained ankle, he might not be part of the team's rebuilding plans. Jones had been playing his best stretch of basketball since joining the Heat in 2000. The possibility of a trade is a subject Jones prefers to avoid. "That's one position I don't want to touch," he told the Herald. "If something happens, I'll deal with it. I enjoy being here, don't get me wrong. I like all the guys on this team, but the fact remains we're not winning." </div>

he's on a bad team...he should look to go elsewhere...i don't blame him for not being in the rebuilding process...they have no real team

there was a lot of talk about him going to the Bulls for Marcus Fizer, Eddie Robinson (apparently Riley likes him) and some other guys. Jerry Krause really liked him, but I don't want him on my team if he's always injured.

If Alonzo stays in Miami it wont be such a bad team with Eddie Jones there.

eddie jones is solid, he plays good defense and gives you 18-22 points every night. The only bad thing is his big contract.

eddie jones will be hard to trade because of his enormous contract. he's injured far too often to justify 15M a season and the only way the heat can dump him is to take an overpaid contract back in return or to pay for part of eddie's contract. i don't think they are willing to do either, so eddie is probably going to be stuck in miami.

Alonzo isnt going to be an instant impact. It will take a lot of time for him to get back in the league.

nope, i dont think so, cuz ZO dont forgot how to play Ball, you will see
but Eddie should be traded, cuz he keeps pressure on the salary and dont shows what he get paid for. And folks dont tell me its about the team, I guess we have a good one
