    Just curious to know if anyone has heard any news of Shawn Kemp and where he may pop up this season.

    Perhaps Boston should take him so that him and Vin can compare notes on how to stuff up there careers.

    Kemp had a try-out with the Denver Nuggets but they decided against signing him..

    I have not heard any rumors lately regarding Kemp. However I feel someome will give him a shot.

    Shawn Kemp needs to retire already. His good days are behind him. He is over weight and out of shape. Retire my man!

    I watched the Real Training Camp:Denver Nuggets show on NBATV and Kemp along with his agent visited the practice ficility. Kiki said that Kemp looked like he was in good shape and let him work out with the squad. LOL Kemp turned out to be completely out of shape and instead of getting back on D during the scrimmage, he just stood alone on the opposite side of the court huffing and puffing with his hands on his knees. He eventually gave up and left.

    Kemp is better than horace grant.. I cant believe the lakers picked him up.. the guy will be worst than mitch richmond and tracy murray

    Grant is still money from 15-18 feet....He can still play abit of defence as well unlike Kemp he also puts the effort in.

    I still have faith in kemp but I also think he will let me down. He would fit in well with the Grizzlies(lol). It would be cool if he signed with the sonics.

    Grant can run the floor every night and is a good example to the youngins, you DON'T want Kemp around them.

    Kemp is old and washed up. I cant believe hes only 33, I guess thats what drugs do to you.

    you gotta give him credit for returning to the league after he recovered from his addiction, but a lot of people still remember the spectacular player he was, and don't accept what type of player he is right now...
    There are other overweight players (like Robert Traylor, Oliver Miller) who are playing/have played in the league, so why couldn't Shawn Kemp play?
    As an ex-druggie they're testing him regularly, so he's guaranteed to be drugfree, and he could be a valuable backup to bang down-low.

    it's not about the drugs or any addiction...it's the fact that he can't get back on D anymore...he's completely out of shape...he could've trained more to get back in shape like Baker...

    the only place youll be seeing him in the future is probably in a headline "kemp caught buying coke" and not the kind of coke you buy in mc donalds but youll probably see him there toooooo [​IMG]
