<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Anthony appears in about six minutes of the DVD entitled ?Stop Snitching.? Shot in September when Anthony was visiting his old block in Baltimore, ?Stop Snitching? shows the basketball star?s friends joking about what they would do to Larry Brown, the coach of the Olympic basketball team who benched Anthony, should Brown visit Baltimore. ?We gon? lynch his a** if he ever come here,? one guy says. He is also seen on the DVD talking about his Olympic bronze medal and saying that he threw it in a lake.</div> http://www.blackamericaweb.com/site.aspx/b...s/snitching1205 http://www.thedenverchannel.com/sports/3967329/detail.html Any thoughts on this?
geez..... Melo again... please Melo, stop all the crap and please concentrate on bball. I already sick of his news...and I don't care he's right or wrong, and I don't want to know anymore... That's enough >"<
If Camelo really threw his Olympic medal in a lake, WHAT AN IDIOT. It is a complete honor to receive any medal from the Olympics. Bronze, silver, or gold! As for the DVD on all of this, Melo should stop hanging out with drug dealers before he gets in trouble from the league.
Just another fool with alot cash and dont know what to do. He will end up somewhere in the gutter if he is not carefull.
Is that even true? If it is, Carmelo is so dumb. It's weird how he acts so civilized and mature on television
ummm...someone else threw a medal in a lake... Muhammed Ali i believe so maybe it was some sort of protest for something But the problem is he's in a drug dealer video and it has images of shooting victims and weed in it and then theres him...he's gotta keep himself out of this shit

So the media can pry into his personal life all they want, but he has to concentrate on basketball? Just leave the poor kid alone for five seconds.
You guys should check the Nuggets Board, this one is old and there is already an article posted which denies the fact that Melo throw his medal in a lake: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/nugg...3374505,00.html

That would be a disgrace to the country if it had happened, you should be proud, gold or nothing that you were selected to represent your country. The local news papers didn't even report on this because they were so embarrased. But I know the media is out to get him, because he isn't keeping up with Lebron. What's next, they're going to say he decided to sellm his bronze medal on EBAY?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">You actually think he was serious?</div> Yeah you guys are too serious about this. It's just a 20 year old kid messing around with his childhood friends... it's just a harmless joke. They did not mean what they said, it's 20 year old codes. Anyway, as the news on this spread, Melo was quick to say that his medal was still safe at his house.

Nike is running adds about what a great kid he is, but he's already been arrested with marijuana, has refused to play when he didn't get his way, has shown up late for practices, and now he's on this "Stop Snitching" video (I'm sure I'm forgetting some other offense as well). He attracts the attention to himself.
You guys try to tarnish this guy so much, it's not even funny. It's safely stored in his mother's house in Baltimore. I can't belive you guys were actually taking this seriously. BTW, Melo already faced the Pistons and torched them for 34 points.
This is oooooooolllllllld news. We already have a thread on this in the nuggets forum. And as it has been said a couple times before in here, the medal is saifely stored in his moms house, leave him alone and let him ball.

Playa, this cat brings all this heat on himself. He seems to have the 'superstar syndrome'..meaning he thinks he's a superstar so he's entitled to do whatever he wants. He's acting like a knucklehead, and if you act like a knucklehead you get treated like a knucklehead. Cats like him have to learn that he's 'famous' now. He's in the NBA ans he has a responsibility to handle himself like he has a brain and not like he's the star of a rap video. Until then he's nothing but a poseur.
