This is disgusting. We let one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA score 128 tonight on our home court. We've lost 3 in a row and are having a disappointing season. Outside of Gilbert Arenas, there has not been one consistent brightspot for us this year. We've given up 120+ points in two games straight. It's time to make some changes, get some help around Arenas. I think it's time to fire Eddie Jordan and to look to trade Antawn Jamison.

Gilbert Arenas Over the Last Two Games:
Against Miami: 47 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists. He was 15-29 from the field, 4-9 from three, and 13-14 from the free throw line.

Against Houston: 44 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. He was 13-25 from the field, 5-10 from three, and 13-16 from the free throw line.

That's an average of 45.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 6.5 apg. He has shot 52% from the field, 47% from three, and 87% from the free throw line.

There is no reason the team should've lost either one of those games. He's playing his heart and soul out, diving for lose balls, playing defense, and keeping the Wizards alive. If it wasn't for him, these games would've been TOTAL BLOWOUTS.

    Trade Scenarios
How about Al Harrington? Ship Atawn Jamison to Atlanta for a package involving Al Harrington? The Wizards were interested a couple of years ago in him and I don't think he'd be to hard to get. He averages almost 19 and 7, one more point and 3 less boards than Jamison. A package of Tony Delk, Royal Ivey, and Al Harrington would work.

How about giving some other people some chances. Take Jared Jeffries out of the starting lineup because he's horrendous. We recently called Andrey Blatche up from the D league, why not giving him a try? What's the worst that could happen, a non-existant offensive presence? Jeffries already gives us that.

We need to get some pieces around Arenas, and fast. I think anybody but Arenas, Caron, and Blatche are expendable because this roster isn't working. We had a 3 game winning streak when we first inserted Caron into the starting lineup this year, but we've negated that with a current 3 game losing streak. Things need to be done, before the trade deadline, if this team has any hopes of making a playoff push.

You can't expect everyone on the roster except those 3 will be traded. It's going to take some time, so I think they should keep some guys like Haywood and Hayes. They're really the only reliable guys out there who can score when they need it, but the guys who don't want to be here like Atkins and the guys who aren't doing good like Jeffries should leave. The rumors about Jeffries and Atkins going to NY for Q-rich would be good for the Wizards and they real scorer back and they haven't gotten it since Hughes left.

You look up and down the Wizards roster, and you can't help but notice all the talent on this team. Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison, and Caron Butler are all capable of getting you 20 points a game. The team also has a defensive anchor in Brendan Haywood and physical players in the frontcourt who, do the little things to help you win a game. The backcourt also doesn't lack depth when you can insert Atkins or Daniels at either guard position.

When a team has this much talent and is struggling to win games you have to start pointing fingers at the head coach. Eddie Jordan has not found a way to get the most out of his players not named Gilbert Arenas. The Wizards lost a key player in Larry Hughes, but they did enough in the offseason to make up for his loss. This team cannot use the injury excuse either, because their key players have been healthy all season long. Still this team is 5 games under .500, and losers of three straight.

The defense has stunk recently, and Jordan has to start making players accountable for the defensive lapses. As the season has progressed, you can just see Jordan's control slip and it doesn't appear the players are responding to him anymore. A change is needed in Washington and hopefully the next coach emphasizes defense a lot more than Jordan is doing. There's no excuse for this team giving up 120+ points in a game unless players are giving up. When players are giving up you have to start questioning the coach.

One canidate I think the Wizards should take a look at is Eric Musselman currently an assistant coach at Memphis and former Warriors head coach. He's familiar with Arenas & Jamison, and gets the most out of his players. He turned around the careers of Earl Boykins and Brian Cardinal when he was at Golden State.

The makeup of this team is very similar to the Warriors roster he coached in the 2002-03 season. In just one season under Musselman that Warrior team went from 21 wins to 38 wins and just missed post season play.

I think the Wizards have to play Blatche, hes a much better player than some people getting minutes ahead of him IMO. Jamison to Atlanta would only work if they unloaded an swingman and I dont think thats happening for Jamison, he's not the ideal player for them at this point, a real PG would interest them but who are the Wizards going to give? Chucky Atkins?
