The Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets will meet for a second and final time this season at the Pepsi Center tonight (8:30 p.m. CT | WGN & ESPN2/ESPN Radio 1000). Chicago (20-27) has lost the first four contests of its seven-game Western Conference road swing, including Monday's tough 109-107 overtime loss at Utah in which it led by as many as seven points in the extra session. Ben Gordon, who scored a career-high 39 points against Phoenix on Saturday, scored 35 against the Jazz. Chris Duhon missed the game because of a left thigh contusion and is questionable for tonight's contest. The Nuggets (26-24) are just 1-5 since their season-best seven-game winning streak. They are coming off of a 122-114 loss at Golden State on Monday in which their eight-point third-quarter lead evaporated in a 24-1 Warriors burst. Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points, including 14 in the final period as he attempted to lead Denver's comeback effort. Andre Miller added 22 points and nine assists for the Nuggets, who bring a seven-game home winning streak into Wednesday's contest. Denver has won its last six home games against Chicago. good god we make games interesting. Escape with a 110 - 107 win even though it should never have gotten to that point. Gordon had another 30 point game and Chandler had 14 boards. Songaila had 21 before fouling out and the Sudanese Sensation had 16.
mr 4th quarter knocked down key 3's for the bulls, chandler blocked melo's shot, good stuff by him if it wasnt for him the game would have been different
