I thought there was probably a mistake," he told public broadcaster CBC. "I told them I wasn't aware that I would be charged for hooking up my phone to the computer."</p> A spokesman for Bell said the company will adjust Staniaszek's bill to 3,243 dollars, as "a measure of goodwill."</p> But Staniaszek said he still plans to try and fight it, "because I didn't know about the extra charges. Nobody explained any of this to me."</p> "The thing is, they've cut my phone off for being like 100 dollars over," he told CBC News. Bell is stupid like that, Im currently under bell and have a pretty good plan in my opinion but when I first bought it I checked out their web browser and downloaded a couple of ring tones and then when I got my bill it was $150 which was completely bs that I called customer service and they said that they charge for every data you download so those $1.50 ringtones turnout to be $40. Internet usage on the cellphone is incredibly high in Canada with pretty much every company thats why you dont see apple releasing the iPhone until the prices are competative with the states.</p>
