Vince Carter to return to Toronto? I read on another forum.. that someone who called the fan590 said that he read in the Metro newspaper, that a friend of vince's said that vince asked his agent to check with toronto to see if we were interested in signing him next offseason? anyone else hear this on the radio? or anyone else read this in the Metro? no links..
Exactly what I heard on flow 93.5...I don't mind though, not sure if the fans still accept him back. I'm not sure if he will fit Colangelos system, but I really want him to finish his career as a Raptor.
Orlando seems like a more viable option for him. Also everyone is expecting him to opt out of his contract but depending on his season and the fact that hardly any teams have cap space he might pick up his player option. Although certainly Crater's first interest will be in long term security. I like the rumour though....I miss the York Report.

I would love to have Carter back. Fans will forgive him eventually. I grew up watching Vince since I was 10 years old (holy sh*t seems like ages ago) and him and Kobe are the players that have defined my childhood (in terms of basketball). I would love it if he finished his career here along with CB, TJ and Andrea. Raptors could actually win quite a lot with that tandem.
I'd love to have Vince back. I admit that I hated him to guts leaving, but the idea of having him back is just awesome. Just imagine a starting lineup of PG: Ford SG: Peterson SF: Carter PF: Bosh C: Bargnani
I'd be for it, but I don't think it's in his and the teams best interest. Plenty of fans will not forgive him, plus, we do not have the financial flexibility to sign him. Orlando looks like the perfect place for him if they're willing to dish out the money.
I'll shave all my pubes and glue'em to my face if that sad excuse for a basketball player ever dons a Raptors uniform again.
I'm kind of surprized even a rumour about this popped up. Now that we have Fred Jones and Anthony Parker and PJ tucker, at SF we have Mo Pete, Garbajosa, and Joey Graham. As well I think Vince probably would want more money than we could offer him. Carter on our team would be an improvement, assuming he'd play hard and not ask out again, but I don't think its very likely. Also didn't Carter say things like he wants to stay in New Jersey?

Nevertheless i enjoyed hearing all the random rumours and what if's. He did actually do a decent job reporting on the CFL.
