Myself, I would've declined the offer (but the thing, that James is my fav. player makes a big roll in it). Still, Lamar has been playing much better than AK so far. Joe and Dirk have been quite equal, JJ has been a little bit better. James and Gilbert have been showing superb game so far. The King's stats are still a lil' bit better. If I were you, I wouldn't do that trade. Again, James going away plays a big part in it.
I'm also a huge fan of Lebron but I like the trade. Even though you're giving up Lebron you're getting Gilbert who is not much of a downgrade. Nowtizki IMO is just having a slow start and will be soon putting up monster numbers and Odom you know is a stat filler. AK is still fragile and injury prone so I'd do the trade.
