<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There is currently water on the surface of Mars, Nasa scientists believe. The evidence is contained in pictures taken by the Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft, which is in orbit around the Red Planet. The images show what appears to be brackish water seeping from beneath the Martian surface. The discovery, if confirmed, will mark a turning point in our exploration of the Red Planet, with future missions to Mars being directed to the locations of seepage. </div> http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/799552.stm so does E.T. live?
um, if ET can use an atmosphere 1/140th that of Earth's? At VL1, 22? N, the afternoon, maximum, summer temperatures reaching a peak of only -12? F, (-25? C). The minimum temperature is -128? F, (-89? C), just prior to sunrise: this is the sub-tropics, during summer! Kind of hard to grow them vegetables for ET! Unless he subsisted on mars rocks. http://www-k12.atmos.washington.edu/k12/re...e_overview.html

That's interesting to know. I thought they found water on Mars before? Is this article about a confirmation or something?

It will be hard to substantiate any of those theories until they get a spaceship up there with a oil rig quality drill.

The second copy my uncle gave me. I've only watched it once, its a 3+ hour movie.
I like the Russian cosmo-naught. Lev Andropov: Excuse me, but I think I know how to fix this. Watts: Move it! You don't know the components! Lev Andropov: [annoyed] Components. American components, Russian Components, ALL MADE IN TAIWAN! Lev Andropov: This is how we fix things on Russian space station! [hits panel with tool]
Maybe the Martians live underground? It could be warmer (probably not) underground and apparently there's water seeping out of there which suggests the presence of underground water.

That Aerosmith song from Armageddon was really catchy. Anyways, I hope we find something like Marvin the Martian. That dude's so funny.

I think people think of life in terms of what we have to recognize here on earth. But there could be other forms of life that aren't anything like humans or animals or bacteria that we are used to. There fore maybe they don't need warm temperatures or water or air or anything for that matter. Think outside the box.
