<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> March 6, 2007 -- David Lee practiced yesterday, but the Knicks forward remained unsure if he could play tonight against Seattle. Lee has missed the last five games because of a sprained right ankle and strained muscle.

"I have no clue right now," Lee said. "It was pretty sore today, but I was making good progress because I was able to go through the full drills that we did. That's a huge improvement. I wouldn't have been able to do that a couple of days ago."

The team's leading rebounder was listed as probable, but Lee did not sound so sure after practice. Isiah Thomas was cautious when asked about Lee's possible return.

"We're hopeful," Thomas said. "But until they tell me he's cleared all I can do is be hopeful."

Thomas said he does not expect Lee to be back to 100 percent immediately, though. Lee has not played since Feb. 23.

Guard Nate Robinson remains shelved with a stomach virus. He did not practice again yesterday. He has missed the last three games due to the illness. On Sunday, Robinson saw a specialist, who confirmed it was nothing more serious than a virus.

"Nate's really sick," Thomas said. "He's a sick pup right now. There's nothing you can do. You hope that the bug goes away soon. You don't like seeing a guy, particularly a guy as energetic as him, looking and feeling the way he's feeling." </div>

They need Lee for sure....Lee being out for even that short of time is like a heart attack for the Knicks franchise.
