Spring break started for me and my family wants to go somewhere for to days. Do any of you guys living in the Bay Area know somewhere really cool to visit for 2 days? A few hour drive and lots of fun. [IMG]

Nah, snow should still be there or at least fake snow.

I can't think of things that are worth driving to and are really, really fun. First thing that came to mind was snowboarding too. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is open, if you wanna hop on some rides, admission's free, all-day rides are $30-40 per person, or there's always laser tag, bowling or arcades. Hm, what else? Hearst's Castle is a kinda nice tour, but is way too far in my opinion for just a tour of a really rich guy's old home. I don't really go past Monterrey, which I like, but not much there unless you plan in advance (Whale watching is kinda nice if you like sea life). There's some ghost towns around but they're hit-and-miss.

Wine country! Like Sonoma/Napa/Mendicino. But if you don't like wine, Monterey is also nice. Carmel is pretty cool. I think Clint Eastwood might have been the mayor there once or twice.

There's a lot to do it just depends what you prefer doing. Give me some ideas on what you like and I'll recommend some places.

Is this your first time in the city?
    Do you like the outdoors?

    etc.

I went to Lake Tahoe on Monday and Tuesday and saw Tiger Woods' house. [IMG]
