Why does it seem like some people are sitting on their hands? There are some threads that needed to be deleted or "edited". I rarely see any mod do anything, aside from M Two One editing one of my previous posts for saying "That joke was supposed to annoy you", which was ridiculous.

Maybe the patriots cheated them out of their right to react to posts? I hope they are all ok!

I find these boards enjoyable because of the overall laid back atmosphere.

Maybe a bit too laid back? But who am I to judge, I'm just a P0rnStar.

There are a couple different reasons why there isn't a lot of moderational activity:

    1. There really isn't much to moderate. People on this site are very well behaved, from what I've seen.

    2. The moderation options are extremely different than they were for us (when I say us, I mean old BBW/JBB members). You can't move topics to different forums/sections, you can't delete posts within a topic, etc. All you can really do is delete topics (and even then, you can't physcially remove a topic from the forums, it's still there with a "Deleted" stamp next to it for mods), sticky topics, and edit posts (and once again, posts don't need to be edited here very often).

There simply is nothing to do with the minimal options available to us, and even if we had those options we had at our previous sites, there isn't much do change.

Some moderators can't edit on specific boards, because they are moderators of specific boards.

Haven't seen anything that needs editing. I send im's to some of the admins when I see something, and they usually clean it up right away.

Where do you feel there is a lack of moderation?

Alright, I think I got most of the Global mods and Hunter in this thread through pm, I believe everything is being dealt with.

Yeah, there were a lot of attacks andunnecessary comments being thrown around in the Patriots cheating thread. I was surprised some of the comments went untouched, because on JBB, those type of comments would not be allowed. Personally, I feel the mods should start deleting unnecessary comments or attacks because those types of comments really brings down the quality of the forum.

We do have lax rules here, but not allowing personal attacks are one of the big ones.

A little smack talk is fine (e.g. I hate the Knicks!), as it is a big part of sports in general.

    Just an FYI

Moderators can make folders and they can move threads around, no problem.

There was a lot of personal attacks and unnecassary comments in the Patriots thread I just mentioned. Someone should probably check it out, because the thread is filled with attacks and childish conversation.

I just want to straiten this out. If I said something like:

    /me goes to sleep

You'd have no problem, but If I said something stupid, out of line, and plain wrong like:

    "Jesus isn't real"

    you would mind it, right?

Because that's the way I'm viewing it.

Lol why are you talking about Jesus? No one was talking about any of your posts, nor do I care about other people insulting Jesus.
