On Tuesday former Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden conducted a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) which is an open ended Q&A with Reddit users. During the AMA, Bowden, who is the winningest coach in Division I college football history, was asked who he thought was the greatest college football coach of all-time.

"Do you mean the 2nd greatest? To me the greatest was Bear Bryant. He got more out of his players than anyone ever," wrote Bowden.

The ex-Seminoles head man, who won national championships with the Seminoles in 1993 and 1999, went into more detail, saying that Bryant was the coach he sought to emulate.

"Well I think Bear Bryant was the coach that I followed the most and tried to emulate the most. I think he's one of the greatest coaches ever. I learned a lot of football from him and his staff while he was at Alabama."

    Bryant coached at Alabama from 1958 to 1982, winning 6 national championships (1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, 1979) and 14 SEC titles.
