Chip Kelly coaches the Eagles, but he used to coach the University of Oregon. Running back De’Anthony Thomas made a lot of plays for Kelly in Eugene before Kelly was hired to replace Andy Reid in Philadelphia. Now he’ll get to try to make some plays for Reid in Kansas City. The Chiefs made Thomas the 123rd pick of the 2014 draft on Saturday afternoon, bringing some needed offensive playmaking ability to a team that went defense on the first two days. Thomas made plays as a runner and receiver in Oregon’s electric offense and will probably be tried in both roles on a Chiefs team that got even shorter on offensive weapons when Dexter McCluster left as a free agent. - See more at:http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/05/10/chiefs-grab-deanthony-thomas-at-no-123/
