What needs to change? Well obviously there's the whole Livingston situation, nothing can be done there. Sam seems to be stuck in being injured world, so there's minimal reliability with him as the PG. So the PG position looks like an open spot. Korolev's contract expires, I've seen nothing from him that warrants being re-signed. Singleton's minimal contract is up, and he's a guy I like, on a team where he get's minutes he could actually do very well. The Clippers have minimal ability in the FA market, so there's the draft (if the pick is being kept), and there's the MLE.
Didn't singleton want out during the season? If this is true I can see him leaving the team. What number pick do Clippers have?

Hopefully the player they choose will actually have somewhat of an impact on the team, unlike their previous pick Korlov (spelling?)
The Clipshow looks like it needs a major overhaul, but without the possibility of moving all the pieces it needs to... adding to that is the health issues of half the squad... just when you thought the team was turning the corner, it makes a u-turn...
I was saying about Korolev before, the only thing I could possible think of is that the team doesn't want other teams to see what he can do, and they're trying to hide him so he can be signed for cheap. Outside of that, I don't see why that guy didn't go to the D-League.
The Clippers are very known for drafting crappy players like Michael Olowokandi in that 1998 draft were they had first choice passing down Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki so they really need to work on that... Steve Francis may be in a Clippers trade theres always Smush Parker free agent PG.
Even though they didn’t make the playoffs, the Clippers aren’t that bad of a team. Let’s not forget last season they took the Suns to Game 7 of the playoffs. They could have very well won that series and possibly beaten the Mavericks the next round. I think the early injury to Cassell set them back a bit and they never fully recovered. This is definitely a solid team, when healthy. The position with the greatest need is of course point guard, which is unfortunate because coming into the season it was arguably the best. After seeing that knee injury of Livingston, I think it would be best for the organization to move on without him, since it’s doubtful he returns to what he used to be. You also have Cassell who is on the decline and turning 38 next season. He already showed some signs of breaking down last season playing only 58 games. The Clippers can probably depend on him for another year or two playing at the level he’s been playing at. Perhaps the Clippers can use their first rounder and make a move to acquire a quality point guard like Andre Miller. I just threw that name out randomly, I really don’t know the chances of that happening, especially since he wasn’t too happy during his stint with them. If they do decide to keep their lottery pick, I think it’s imperative they use it on someone with a decent ceiling who can immediately step in and make an impact. From day one I wasn’t really impressed with Korolev. I thought he was too young and inexperienced. Plus he didn’t really fill in a need with Maggette manning small forward. So if the Clippers decide to hold onto their pick, they have to take full advantage of it. Unlike recent years, the Clippers are comprised of more veterans. With Elton Brand already 28 (can you believe it?), Tim Thomas at age 30, and with Maggette and Mobley, around the start of next season turning 28 and 32 respectively, the Clippers have to make the decision to either win now, or try to get younger. I think the team is just an impact player away from repeating a run similar to that of last season.
imagine if the clips had JKidd, they would tear it up, that would be the end of it right there. but to bad it wont happen. anyway what can the clips do about livingston? idk. does elton brand need to be traded so you guys can rebuild? yes. who does he need to be traded to? the lakers. who for? kwame. that would be awsome wouldnt it. then all the clippers fans would just go, "Fuk it...GO LAKERS", and all the problems would be solved, just like that. so what do you guys think?...nah im kidding, brand is still young, maggette is good trade bait, all you guys need is a playmaker and you would be set, which is the case for just about every team in the nba besides the ones still in the playoffs.

They would vast improve, but they wouldn't be a huge title contender. Livingston, IMO is a good PG, just a stupid mistake jeopardized his career. Maggette, though I agree is good trade bait, if you wanna get a good PG, but he is a quality SF who does a lot. So I say keep him, and build though the draft and free agents like Rashard Lewis and Anderson Verajeo. There are good FA out there, Dunleavy Sr. just has to look and make the correct signings.
Well the Clippers need to trade Elton Brand yes!Why because if thinks ain't working hes going to opt-out of his contract and is going to the Lakers.Theres a good FA Market this offseason. Theres Rashard Lewis good PG theres Blake,WILLIAMS and Billlups.IMO trade Brand to the Lakers for Kwame and Vladimir Radmanovic trade works.
