You have to be really good and stand out from your teammates and dominate competion. It also helps if you play for a school that plays against good competion. Scouts don't want to see you beat up on sucky teams.
It might also help if send in a video of your playing skills to the basketball department of the school you are intrested in, i think you can do that?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting chineseballer13:</div><div class="quote_post">what age group do scouts usually watch? im in the 14-15 year old group</div> You will see them at 16U but primarily at the 17U games. They usually only go to the big tourneys so unless you play for a top-notch AAU team you will usually not play in the big tourneys.
hey hunter what if your not gonna play for any team ur senior year in highschool..are there AAU for freshman college players? Im planing to go to the University of Utah for 1-2 years, and hopefull get way good at basketball during those y ears and go play somewhere..so are there AAU teams for college players where college coaches can look at you? Or what do you do?
If you are going to play in college whether it be D1, D2, D3, or JUCO, you should play your senior year in HS. Why would you not?
