Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell revealed his battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma in a statement posted on the band's Facebook page Monday. Campbell, 50, wrote that he is two months into his prescribed six-month chemotherapy treatment, but has been "feeling rather spiffy, all things considered." After months of coping with a "cough that wouldn't quit," the guitarist underwent a surgical biopsy in early March that identified the cancer, which has a cure rate of more than 80%, according to his statement. "Despite cancer and chemo, me and my new aerodynamic hairstyle (read: no hair) are going on tour this summer with the band," Campbell wrote. "I don't want anyone to be so shocked by my new look that they ask for a refund." Def Leppard is embarking on a month-long summer tour, which kicks off June 21 at Hellfest music fest in Clisson, France.
