Personally after cringing through the games missed by my man Zo through his medicall conditions, I really want to see another hurt player come back and make a big impact and do it in style. Only A-Mc can do this because of his experience. I don't remember alot about his play because hes been out for a long time but his numbers still stand out and he was an allstar player. I think the games he plays before the allstar break will contribute to his match fitness and readiness to battle in the hardest league in the world. After the allstar break he will start to produce big numbers and lift the NYK's. Just give him time and I do believe in him because this time he has been sensible and taken more time to heal.

But in answer to your question, nothing would please me more than to see McDyess back to his best, but I don't think he can be anymore than a role player when he comes back. It's a shame, cos before the injuries he was arguably the closest thing to the old Kemp in the league, a great combo of grace, athleticism and pure power.

I remember the old McDyess. Man, was he nasty! He himself admitted that he's not 100%. If that 100% pertains to his old powerful self, I doubt that he'll reach that level again.

He is just rusty. I mean the man hasnt played in 19 months (I think thats what they said). Eventually the rust will ware off and he will show us the Dice that he really is.

I hope the rust wears off- soon. Dice is this team's last hope. They've played pretty well of late but they aren't going to come close to the play offs if Dice isn't contributing.

    Dyess

The man's game back then depended on his ability to leap. Without that, he is grounded and no better than Kurt Thomas. Most guys rarely come back the same from that type of injury from an athletic standpoint. Don't hold your breath.
