05's Dunk Contestant Predictions Well so far this pre-season there has been alot of pretty good high flying action from several players. But there can only be 4 in the dunk contest at the All-Star Break. What is your prediction on the players who will compete? Here's mine: 1. JR Smith - New Orleans 2. Al Harrington - Atlanta 3. Fred Jones - Indiana 4. Andre Iguodala - Philadelphia I predict that Al Harrington will take the contest.

I think LeBron will be a "one and done" contestant either this year or next year. Fred Jones will be invited back. J-Rich could do the exact same dunks as last year and win if he makes them. I doubt Iguodala will do it, he's more of a game dunker.
LeBron James, JR Smith, Andre Igoudala and reigning champion Fred Jones are my predicted particpants.

At least harrington is better than Chris Wilcox that is just weird... Also i doubt lebron will enter...the good players never do anymore...JRich is probably over it too...obviously Vince, T-Mac, Kobe wont enter and Dez Mason and Gerald Wallace have already done it and probably wont go back...that will leave it down too Fred Jones, JR Smith definitly and i dont really know who else...ideal would have LaVarr Postell and Darvin Ham and such but their too old now i think

This will be his 4th season, and only players with 3 years or less of NBA Experience can particapte. However, they did bend those rules last year to allow Ricky Davis to particpate. They'll do so for J-Rich because of Marketing reasons, but J-Rich has already said he's done, and will not particapte in another NBA Dunk Contest.
