Arsenal host second-place Man City on Sunday in what is sure to be a hotly contested match. City are on the verge of conceding the league title to rivals ManU and Arsenal are in a deathmatch with rival Sp*rs to solidify their third place position. With just seven games left in the season, every result is crucial, as will be goal differential. City have claimed just two points in their last two games against Stoke (away) and Sunderland (home), failing to add to their goal tally, while Arsenal had a seven game winning streak broken against QPR (away) on Saturday.
Song is a rough and tumble player as well but I can't recall him going in to break someone's leg. Balotelli deserves the hate he gets. If Song had more of his weight on the leg or his studs were stuck in deeper, pop goes that knee for sure.
This isn't tasteful. "You can't buy class" was perfect, that banner was great. This one is beneath us. ("Little Whore")
It seems that Mario's studs-first challenge on Song will not be punished by the FA, while the egregious Ashley Young dive vs. QPR will have the red and 1-game suspension upheld. The FA--we're not as bad as FIFA and UEFA, but we're doing our worst.
