Anyone want to take a stab at how many dunks the team get's each game, I don't know myself, all I know is that it's a lot, but any guesses?
probably the most in the nba especially with their transition game and how nash opens up a play in the low post.
Well we are #1 in points and we have probably the best fast-break game in the league so I would say we got the most dunks. Amare and Marion must get at least 5 each game, Q and JJ can also throw it down. Haven't saw Nash dunk it yet .
Hmm....8-9? Chris Bosh gets like 3 a night for the Raps, the Suns have Amare, Marion, Hunter, JJ and q so I'm guessing around there. Go to CBS Sportsline and goto "Dunk Factor" or something like that, find all the Suns players, add their Dunks up, and divide that by Games Played.
I'm guessing something around 11. Having argueably the best point guard in the game right now running the point, obviously creates easy dunks, and with a very athletic team, as the Suns have, your going to see lots of dunks. Marion and Stoudamire have a few every night, and Hunter/JJ/Q-Rich seem to be getting a couple dunks every game aswell.
Amare Stoudemire - 33 Shawn Marion - 12 Quentin Richardson - 8 Steven Hunter - 6 Joe Johnson - 4 Jake Voskuhl - 2 These are the only players who have dunked on the Suns. Stoudemire's 33 is tops in the entire league. I did the math, and it turns out that the Suns average 5.9 dunks a game. That's nothing close to our guesses! Thanks to cbssportsline.com for the stats!

Mmm.. didn't you just read it, Amare only averages 3 a game, and the team averages 6 a game? It does seem like more, but I guess all the dunks are on the highlights because most of Amare's dunks are beast, he never get's "nice" dunks.
Averaging 3 dunks a game is a whole lot especially if he could maintain that the whole season. If he plays all 82 games he'd get a total of 246 dunks. When you think about it, that's alot of highlights. I remember Shawn Kemb getting about 159 dunks in his prime in a season and that was a ton.
