I would give them a 'B' I think they have formed a very solid starting line-up an I would give them an 'A' if they had dealt with our lack of defense and brought in some defensive minded players.
^Nice.I give them a B+ because they put together another exciting team that has one of the most solid lineups in the league.Id give the Kings an A if they made themselves a contender,by addressing the issues of defense and athleticism like shootingmachine says.

The kings do have a good starting line up but I think they should attempt a big trade, maybe for Pierce I think we would be a contender then. We all know Pierce doesn't look to happy at Boston and I think they would consider taking Peja and package for him. What yall think?
I'll give the Kings a B. They didn't adress their defensive and athleticism isues as shootingmachine and Giant Midget mentioned but they did improve. I'm still wondering why they let Mobley walk, I'm guessing they didn't want to pay him what he was asking.
^ That's why and because they found a short term replacement and longterm replacement for him. I'll give them a B+. My favorite move by them was acquiring Jason Hart. He's a very effective player. He's not flashy but he'll get the job down and is more than a good replacement for B-Jax because of his multiple skills and for the fact that he's not injury prone. SAR was a nice addition, but that starting lineup front court is weak on D. They have a nice bench now though with Hart, Garcia, Martin, Thomas and Skinner. Thomas and Skinner should bring the toughness they lack inside, off of the bench.
I don't think getting defensive minded players would really help the Kings much, as Adelman is not a coach who is going to coach at a defensive style anyways. Both Christie and Mobley were great defenders, but they became mediocre when they joined the Kings. As we have witnessed with the Kings, Mavs and Suns of last season, when you play at an uptempo pace and score a lot of points, it's inevitable that you give up a fair amount too.

I think he made all of his all nba defensive teams while playing for the Kings. Sacramento, contrary to popular belief, was once a good defensive team.As a matter of fact in the 01-02 season when they were the best team in the league they were also one of the best defensive teams.

We still give up too much and we lack toughness.
I give them a B...they've had a very nice offseason...they got Wells, Abdur-Rahim, and Jason Hart, and I think drafting Garcia was a great move...
Just pointing out. Getting one or two defensive players won't make much of a difference becasue the rest of the team is still pants at defense. If you want defense then you need a defensive minded coach, which adelman is not. Anyway I give us a B+. I like the move of getting Wells and SAR, plus witht osme young blood in Cisco we will do well.
in my opinion the kings are the 3rd best for improving in the west after the spurs and rockets you guys drafted my second favorite player in the draft got wells and rahim b+
B+ for the Kings they improved and got good players, if only they would adressed there defense problem..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ThaKinG:</div><div class="quote_post">B+ no doubt. The team got better and we didn't lose much.</div> Yeah you only lost Bobby Jackson and Cuttino Mobley. I would give the Kings a B for talent and a C for team chemstry. As talented as Bonzi Wells is, you have to take in consideration if he is going to work out for the team. He was a cancer in Portland and Memphis, what's to stop him here. Bobby Jackson was like a bench cheerleader who added that extra spark of confidence that always got the Kings victories. yeah Kings got some talent, but you have to question the morale of the team later on.
