I thought Kobe had a deal with Adidas... but during yesterday's game, I saw hime wearing a Nike Hurauache(sp?) someone please tell me what's going on...
He got out of the contract with Adidas a couple of years ago. He wasn't happy with the way things were going with them, so he opted out of the contract, eventhough that cost him a couple million. After last year's all-star game he was allowed to go find another deal again, and he signed with Nike. I don't know what's going on with him getting his own shoe, but I'd guess it'll come after all his court problems are solved.

That one where he was playing against that kid and swatting the hell outta him was classic.
I'll see if I can dig up the early mockups of the Kobe/Huarache. As soon as he get's cleared (God willing) they'll start marketing them as Kobes.

Speaking of Kobe, did anyone catch today's show of The Best Damn Sports Show Period? John Salley kept saying over and over that Kobe is better than Jordan in almost every way.. Everyone was arguing AGAINST him but he kept saying "Kobe is better" lol good stuff... Just thought I should mention that... My vote went for Kobe also btw.

I think he will be better than Jordon, if he is acquiited. He is just amazing, I dont want to go off topic here though. Kobe's shoes are awesome, I love the Haurache's I was thinking about getting a pair.
I would love to get a pair of the Huaraches...too bad they cost $130 and I don't exactly have that kind of cash.

That's what you call an ugly shoe. At least the color , and that 8 on the back .. lol I wouldn't mind those Purple and Gold he was wearing if I was a die-hard Lakers fan tough.
