    Miami released LaPhonso Ellis.

    Miami exercised their option year for Rasual Butler and Sean Lampley, making both signed through 03-04. Miami elected not to exercised their option year for Ken Johnson, making him an unrestricted free agent.

    Miami made a qualifying offer to Malik Allen, making him a restricted free
    agent. Miami elected not to make qualifying offers to Eddie House and Mike James, making both unrestricted free agents.

    Eddie House is a offensive machine. The heat should have kept him, but I guess now since they have dwayne wade he expendable.

    I doubt it, he probably wont be in the nba next year. He has no defense at all. That is most likely the reason pat riley cut him.
