Re: USSF Division Two Soccer FC New York Gains PDL Affiliate Lancaster Rattlers becomes feeder club for FC New York FC New York Press Release - www.fcnewyorksoccer.com Thursday, June 3, 2010 NEW YORK, NY - FC New York recently announced its first USL Premier Development League affiliate will be the Lancaster Rattlers, based in Lancaster, California. The two clubs will exchange best practices, while Lancaster will act as a feeder club for F.C. New York. “Gerry Brunner and the Rattlers have been great," FC New York President Doug Petersen said. "They truly understand what we can achieve. We believe in the partnership and their area of geographic influence.” For players in the Southern California region, being with the Rattlers potentially brings them only a step away from the professional ranks of F.C. New York.
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer I'm sorry, but that crest is all kinds of fail. It reads "Frailhawks" to me.
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer actually I like stuff like that much more interesting than called themselves FC Carolina or Carolina AC
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer Yeah, I guess I would like that if I was American. I just find calling a team the "London Lizards" really tacky.
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer Really ...how about the Canaries or the Tangerines or the Magpies or (my favorites) The Bouncing Baggies
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer No doubt the clubs have nicknames, never denied that. We just don't call teams "Manchester United Red Devils", "Arsenal Gunners", "Newcastle Magpies", "Hull Tigers", "Chelsea ****s", etc.
Re: USSF Division Two Soccer you may not but their fans do anyway you were acting like you hadn't heard of a strange nickname before which is obviously not the case case closed "nose not so much in the air"
