Donavon McNabb is one of the best QBs in the league and im very happy with him. i think he is dominating and if he has a TO he could be that much better, he does the most in the league with the least amount of talent, and people critizice his acccuracy, bULL CRAP, if the ball is anywere near a WR/TE/RB it should be caught. the only problem is that he has been injured 2 times in the last 2 years, with a broken leg, thumb and finger, ribs, and sprained leg. it may be a sign that hes injury prone, or might just be freak accidents. i just hope he can go a season without these types of injuries. Detmer-i dont like him because he has no arm, no strength, no speed, ok accuracy and no skill whats so ever. i just hope he never gets in a game to start. no 3rd QB Overall grade-B
i know that if the ball is near a reciever it must be caught, but alot of the time its not near a reciever. what i want to know is what happened to the mcnabb that scrambled? he always used to, now he gets sacked way too much! we should also be looking for an o-line... then mcnabb will have more space to throw the ball and his accuracy will improve alot more, and he wont be going down as many times to hurt any part of him
I think it is ridiculous for you to say he had less talent around him than anyone, call up harrington in detroit if you want to see no talent, the one impact player he had was lost to injury. Mcnabb has had great backs in the backfield, and one of the better running attacks in the league, chad lewis has been to the pro bowl as a tight end, so he has talent.
BF1, i said hes done more with less, id rather have az hakim over thrash, chad lewis sucks, has had so many drops. he had 1 good year, and the other pro bowls he was there because the coach gets to pick 1 player to take with him. mcnabb didt get a real weapon untill week 3 when westbrook started to show his talent, and that was when they got their first win and etc.
Listen up i agree with dawk donovan is one of the best qb's all he needs is talent. but nfl fan what are u talking about did you or did u not watch that nfl playoff game last year. If it was not for donovans scrambiling we would not have made it to where we did. He scrambled on the play that brung the game in tying position. Nfl fan go and watch the game again then tell me he does not scramble anymore.
He is better when he does not scramble too much for two reasons 1) they get more big plays from passing game 2) he does not get hurt as much If he scrambles only 2-4 times a game the threat is still there so the defense is affected but he still moves the ball through passing game.
BF1, he doesnt scramble as much because he doesnt feel the need to. he runs around,alot behind the line and buys time for the WRs, thats why pinky emerged 2 seasons ago, and freddie came out this year. hes a threat when he scrambles 5-7 times a game because then you know that he has the ability to break a 30 yarder. also he always scrambles if were losing or tied or barely ahead late in the game when he puts the game into his hands. thats when hes the best
