Rasho Nesterovic is improving! i've seen him get more blocks and more rebounds in the past 8 games. If Rasho keeps this up as well as some of the bench stepping up, the spurs may have a repeat. Put it this way whoever beats the Lakers in the playoffs, will win the title. The Lakers are unbeatable, but if the spurs play their cards right in the playoffs they can beat them.
Nesterovic right now is exactly what the Spurs hoped he'd be. Look at his averages: points are down from Minnesota, but his blocks and rebounds are considerably higher, which, playing alongside TDuncan, is just what he's supposed to do. I have great confidence in the Spurs down low. I'm still just apprehensive of Bruce Bowen and his overall offensive game, and feel that he's their liability when it comes to repeating.
lakers are unbeatable?...did i just hear that from a SPURS fan?...come on dude , they just lost 2 in a row... including a loss against a team that just a few weeks ago we blew out (portland)...And even the previous two games before they looked horrible...they had had trouble against last-place teams (Utah , NY)...Utah even had a lead on them with less then a minute left...did i mention both games were at Staples! Im seriously tired of people labeling LA as unbeatable , and saying they have the title in the bag...yes , they are a good team but they are far from unbeatable...and far from having the title locked up...SPURS still have the title , u can count them out and say LA has it won already...never count out a CHAMPION!
As for Rasho improving...i totally agree. He is doing his job (rebounding and making his prescence felt on D).U just had to give him time to settle into the system...seldom does the SPURS management make a mistake when picking up a player , and I dont think they made one by picking up Rasho...he is a solid player.
Most def. Rasho Nesterovic has impressed me time and time again this season. I never saw him play in Minnesota, or even heard much about him (or maybe I just didn't notice), but he's beginning to fill into Robinson's shoes quite nicely. The Twin Towers still stand.
Yep, i like what he is doing for us, people were saying that rasho would hurt us, but he isnt, he knows his job and what he has to do, and about bruce bowen, if he limits his shooting to 6 shots a game im happy, because he wokrs his butt of on the other end, forcing bad shots, trunovers, shot clocks,backourts,8 seconds etc, he does help ths team, we have offense in Manu, T.D and parker, and the other guys know what they have to do to win, peace!
Rasho is coming along nicely. Compared to David Robinson's stats from last year, Rasho is higher in every catagory!
I don?t like Rasho either. But the Spurs needed to pick a C, so in that moment, it was a good Poppovich?s move, specially because Jermaine O?neal signed an extension with Pacers.
Yeah and when asked Jerm said he wouldnt have signed the extension if he knew Isiah was being fired. Pacers org - Low dirty bastards. !. lol.
Imagine Jermaine and Duncan owning the glass, and swatting shots all ovre the place, Ahh well, We can dream all we like, But we got rasho and thats that, we just have to turn him into a better player, But i think he already compliments duncan!
