Same shit with this team...after Judge puts us up 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out, the next 3 batters fail to to come through...multiple runs LOB vs the worst team in Baseball. This kind of crap is a formula for failure in the Post Season.
Great play by Vertigo nails runner at home for the final out but damage is done...2-1 bad guys...Gil has no clue as to where the ball is going.
Ditto in the 3rd inning...runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out...no runs...8 base runners, 6 LOB in first 3 innings...only 1 run.
Ditto 4th inning...runners on 1st and 2nd, nobody out...no runs. 11 base runners in 4 innings, 9 LOB...1 run. Gil, 98 pitches and 9 base runners in 4 innings...4-1, bad guys.
I’m on vacation so not able to watch this mess. A 12-2 to the worst team in baseball just continues their long stretch of mediocrity. The winning streak they had doesn’t negate that.
21-29 over their last fifty games. Yes, some guys returned but this win one lose one is not a great sign.
