Where are the NFL owners in dealing with incidents of player abuse. The incidents are piling up as the owners become ostriches buried in the sand. Pathetic people who are avoiding to take a stand and do the right thing. The games have become meaningless.
Yeah, so it is. I knew someone would comment. I made an honest mistake. OK. Mr.Always Right. So, please leave 'sarcasm' to someone else. It just does not fit the moniker. OH, another thing. Since you are the MOD, do me the favor and delete it......so others like yourself won't jump on the ridicule bandwagon.
being a mod is overrated. The rats, and there are a few, run to the admins to complain about literally every post / thread you touch. Furthermore, it's just babysitting because it is not up to the mods on how the board(s) gets run. If it were up to me, an inept clown like Pasta would be long gone and Dump would still be here, but because this is a Ned Flanders board we have to put up with a troll like Pasta while a poster with a lot of hockey knowledge like Dump gets banned.
[I post here as a user and not a moderator of this forum] The section mods are allowed to run their sections as they see fit. I find it terribly immature that you make a topic in the incorrect section (honest mistake, i know) and then get angry when a mod calls you out. Does this happen often here...?
yup. Ghost666 should stop by during any game where the Rangers are getting a few penalties to get a good sense of the whining and crying that goes on, as well as after a loss to see all the panic and jumping off the bandwagon.
Sat Nov 15th @ 7pm is the first game in Pittsburgh. Any game against the Pens, but especially those in Pitt, gets the conspiracy theorists fully amp'ed up. You'll hear how Bettman and the refs conspire for NY to lose and Crosby to win, and how every penalty called on the Rangers is unfair. At the same time, whenever an opposing player hits a Ranger and a penalty doesn't get called, you'll read things like "that's such B/S, 4yrs ago a Ranger made the same play and got called for a penalty". If there's an injury from a "dirty" hit, forget about it, lol. As for good flame wars, those don't really happen anymore. As soon as a good one starts out the usual hood rats run to Truebluefan crying that someone's picking on them, so the fire is put out fairly quickly.
So what does bitching about bitching on the board make one - a bitch squared? The NHL specifically addressed diving/embellishment this off-season (a Cindy specialty) with somewhat paltry fines but it does indicate the recognition of a problem. I think the simple way to stop the nonsense seen in the Montreal series would be to give the offender the Avery treatment until he got the message.
