Ben is quick with his link: Mayo's shot was ridiculous too.
Who was the Kings player that was on the court before the ball even got to the hoop and how was he so sure it was going in? lol
I see an Oregon Ducks shirt about 4th row up on Tyreke's shot! Oh and both of those shots were pretty amazing too. Imagine what Mayo must've been thinking lol
What you guys missed in the video was Evans stealing the ball with 16 seconds left and racing down the court to give Sac the lead. (after they scored to cut it to one) Sac finally won a close game after quite a few heart breakers.
That ending reminded me of the Rockets/Blazers game where Yao hits an impressive turnaround that became an and-one, then Roy hits the turnaround 30 footer at the buzzer.
I noticed the same thig when they took the lead with 16 seconds. They were really excited. They only had won 5 games up to that point and had lost 8 straight. I do not want to go back to that scenario. The Blazer front office needs to be careful not to totally blow things up.It takes too long to come back. And when you finally do, a player (or two) could get hurt or leave via free agency and you are screwed all over again. I would prefer a more cautious approach.
Sacto has underachieved this year. Tyreke has been hurt with a bad ankle (and is thinking about surgery) for much of the season, so he has been worse than last year, and Westphal is playing around with Cousins too much. They should have been fighting for that eighth seed this year.
The best part of the video is Zach standing there with his arms in the air like a dummy after Mayo's shot, then he races off downcourt as Evans gets the ball in the spot he just vacated.
Two things: 1. Why do the Grizzlies look like the Utah Jazz now? Those uniforms are confusing. 2. Tyreke Evans reminds me of a young Brandon Roy....... hey..... he's young and on a crappy team, maybe we should trade for him???
