I just wondered what people thought of the ins & outs at their clubs for the 2007 season? Which clubs have recruited well & which have recruited poorly? Who has let too much quality walk away? Who else would you love to sign or let go?

Sad to see Ruud go in the summer but he was bringing the team morale down with his whinging and ego. He expected to be automatic first choice, regardless of form, which was completely the wrong attitude. And this one can't be contributed to another clash of personalities with Fergie this time either since he's done the exact same thing with Van Basten and the Holland team. His transfer has worked out though and he's playing well for Madrid. Fair play to him but he wouldn't be in that form at United after the end of last season. Besides, it's not like we're missing him. Sent Rossi out on loan which was a massive waste of everybody's time as he's barely got any first team action at Newcastle.

As for the ins, Well Kusczsak looks like a good buy for the future and Carrick is slowly settling into the midfield. He's not been playing well but he's been getting a job done while still finding his feet at the club. The £12m up-front for him was a bit OTT but the other £6.5m are performance-related and £3m of that is if we win the Champions league in the next 3 years or something, in which case, I really wouldn't mind that extra expense at all. Also, Liverpool were busy in the transfer market but not much has come of most, if not all, their signings. Bellamy hasn't clicked, Kuyt is still figuring the English game out, Pennant is just crap but Agger and Gonzalez look alright.
