I have found the Chicago Pre-Draft Camp official player measurements, from http://www.draftcity.com. I thought I'd post any relevant measurements here; players that may be available around the number 12 spot and may pique management's interest. I left out second rounders, because often it's just a case of best player available, and it's impossible to gauge who we'll take with our two second rounders.

    Name: Josh Childress
    Height w/o shoes: 6'5.75"
    Height with shoes: 6'7.25"
    Weight: 196
    Wingspan: 6'11"
    Standing reach: 8'9"

    Name: Kris Humphries
    Height w/o shoes: 6'8.25"
    Height with shoes: 6'9.5"
    Weight: 238
    Wingspan: 7'5.5"
    Standing reach: 8'10.5"

    Name: Andre Iguodala
    Height w/o shoes: 6'5.75"
    Height with shoes: 6'6.75"
    Weight: 217
    Wingspan: 6'11"
    Standing reach: 8'9.5"

    Name: Luke Jackson
    Height w/o shoes: 6'6"
    Height with shoes: 6'7"
    Weight: 212
    Wingspan: 6'8.5"
    Standing reach: 8'7"

    Name: Al Jefferson
    Height w/o shoes: 6'8.25"
    Height with shoes: 6'9.75"
    Weight: 263
    Wingspan: 7'2.5"
    Standing reach: 9'2"

    Name: Jameer Nelson
    Height w/o shoes: 5'11"
    Height with shoes: 6'0.5"
    Weight: 199
    Wingspan: 6'2.5"
    Standing reach: 7'11"

    Name: Peter J. Ramos
    Height w/o shoes: 7'1.75"
    Height with shoes: 7'3.25"
    Weight: 255
    Wingspan: 7'5.5"
    Standing reach: 9'3.5"

    Name: JR Smith
    Height w/o shoes: 6'5.5"
    Height with shoes: 6'6.75"
    Weight: 227
    Wingspan: 6'10"
    Standing reach: 8'8"

    Name: Josh Smith
    Height w/o shoes: 6'7"
    Height with shoes: 6'8.25"
    Weight: 221
    Wingspan: 7'0"
    Standing reach: 8'10.5"

    Name: Kirk Snyder
    Height w/o shoes: 6'6"
    Height with shoes: 6'6.75"
    Weight: 228
    Wingspan: 6'9"
    Standing reach: 8'8"

    Name: Tiaggo Splitter
    Height w/o shoes: 6'10.25"
    Height with shoes: 6'11.75"
    Weight: 233
    Wingspan: 7'2"
    Standing reach: 9'1.5"

    Full List.

    * Perovic, Biedrins and Araujo were not measured, so their attributes couldn't be taken.

    * Humphries and Nelson are probably bigger than you think, while Jackson and Snyder seem to have good size for the NBA, as 2/3 players. JR Smith seems quite small, too.

If we draft a sg/sf, then I hope we trade Ray/Lewis/Radman because it would be rediculous to add another swingman, defense or no defense. If we didn't draft Collison last year, I would have no problem saying we should draft Jefferson but we need a center badly. Come to think about it, is there a possibilily Jefferson will grow an inch or two? Aroujo is said to have no defense, Ramos has giantism, Splitter will be a disaster because any Dirk wannabe will be innefective on this team (especially with Radmanovic). Humphries? No thanks....

    Draft Jefferson!

Splitter stunk it up in a recent work-out. Araujo isn't a bad defender, but at the same time I could see him picking up a lot of cheap fouls at NBA level, as his footwork isn't great. Jefferson and Ramos are good prospects, but you gotta wonder how long they would take to adapt to NBA level and be effective. I'd rather Collison over Humphries, too.

I heard in SLAM that Josh Smith's teammate Rajon Rondo(6'2) has the same wingspan as Josh Smith(6'9). Have you guys heard that.

It wouldn't surprise me, because Rajon is the man.

I'm now rooting for the Sonics to draft Humphries. I didn't want him when he was 6'7"/6'8" because he'd be a Collison clone, but now I think he could be a better post player with his length, not to mention he's more advanced than Collison was at the same age. Honestly, there's just nobody better at that pick.

Humphries bench pressed a camp high 185 pounds in Chicago. From memory Collison struggled with the bench press in 2003.

Are you sure it was 185? I can bench that.

Oops, I mean he had the most reps. Everyone does 185, Humphries had 22 reps. I think Collison struggled to do five last season. Humphries also matched some guards in the agility tests.
