Congrats Dawk & Co - sounds like Owens is coming to town.

He must have put some fear into the Ravens and convinced them he would hold out...since they only got a 5th rounder out of it. That or they were worried they would lose the arbitration thing, which I don't get.

What was the deal? $8-10 to sign - $6 a year?

i think the eagles are going to be the same as last year. we still need corners, so just because we have TO and kearse now, were still very weak against the pass. so i say the eaglesd need to get some corners, which im sure theres plenty of them still around, so they can stop the pass.

You can trade for Dernard Walker [IMG]

I think you will be better, TO should help a lot, and so should the freak. Who knows though, you did lose some corners obviously, so you'll have to replace them. Also, whose going to be your RB? Duce is gone, I always thought he was the best one. Westbrook is awesome (go 'nova), but injury prone. Buck is ok. You guys still have holes but it's looking better. I am the most concerned about your corners!!

Actually, the CBs are pretty picked over now. Taylor is still available as is Mario Edwards from the Cowboys. Those are the top 2 UFAs left, I think. There are also some OK guys that are RFAs, if you choose to go that route. (Dallas needs a corner too).

theres still the draft to deal w/ so we might take a corner out of there, and maybe another running back because reid really like the 3-headed monster thing last year

BF1, u dont know who lito and shel are do you?

sheldon has shown when given the time he could shut down the other corner, or at least keep it to a minimum. he made 2 bad plays in his career, that was the TD pass he gave up in the GB second round game this year where he jumped way to early, and the other TD in that game. hes gonna be good, real good, and he loves to hit and tackle unlike BOBBY "hand tackle/miss/push/attempt to push" TAYLOR.

lito is still a Wildcard, he was a great college player, and has tremendous speed to close the gap, his flaw is he is short and i think with more work and more time he will show his talent.

they both hit pretty hard and are good tacklers. just wait and see....

ok to say either of those players has reached the level of play bobby taylor reached is ridiculous, he was a probowler. 2nd they have proven nothing. 3rd if he has only made 2 bad plays it is one of two things- you are wrong he made several more bad plays, or he so rarely saw the field to make any plays. Finally in closing the eagles pass defense will be bad this season unless they get one hell of a pass rush
