At one point, Steve Nash's 2013-14 season was marred by concerns over whether or not he'd ever play another NBA game due to nerve irritation in his back, as well as hamstring issues. Mike D'Antoni, who has since resigned from his post as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, even hinted in late March at shutting down the 40-year-old for the remainder of the campaign, a move that could have happened had the Lakers not been slammed by injuries. But after lots of deliberation over playing another season (and some deliberation from the Lakers over keeping him around for the final year of his contract), Nash is returning to the purple and gold. It shouldn't come as any surprise that while speaking with Sport TV, Nash all but confirmed that this will be his last hurrah as a player. - See more at: http://www.thescore.com/nba/news/544802
