For dry red itchy eyes He has to be the most boringest play to watch compared to the leagues other top superstars I can clearly picture sir Tim Duncan do that, taking the place of the dull Ben STein...Tim Duncan perfect fundamentally sound player, plays with heart, great guy, makes the perfect role model, but is not one, well at least not as liked as the other stars. (in kids perspective) I havent seen that many ppl wear his jerseys. He has no charisma, no flare, no commercials. "Fun-damentals are FUN", would be a great slogan for his ads. I have no problem with that, we need a guy in the league who just gets the job done, who saves the last bit of fundamentals in the game today. Who else do you know who is an excellent player but isn't the main attraction?
I personally love watching TD play. I am a huge fan of the game and I admire the way he plays. Has the best footwork in the game...something I admire. He works hard at what he does and perfects it.
Now, Duncan, he's a guy you either love him or you hate him, i gotta stay true here and say i'ma hater tho. No diss at all to his game, cuz i know he can play, he just plays too good, is what i think. Ya'll got no idea how many times i said "**** Tim Duncan" during the playoffs, he flat out murdered my 2 teams, lakers and nets, so basically what i'm sayin', is that he plays so good it pisses you off.
Tim Duncan can be boring to watch, he plays a no thrills game but it's extremely effective. But people shouldn't hate on him because his game's boring, if they judge how good someone is on how exciting to watch they are they should watch some And1 tapes to make them happy. Once you get past the entertainment factor, and enjoy watching players for the ability of thier game, then Tim Duncan is a joy to watch, because he does so many things well.
When I watch basketball, I don't get excited on what they do after the play of before it, I care about what they do during the play. If Duncan gets in the low post and does a sweet little move for the score, that's all I want to see, I don't care if he does Shaq's little monkey face, if he skips down the court, or yell's real loud. As long as he get's the 2 points, then it was a good thing in my opinion. Timmy will never be a emotinal player like KG is, but so far in his CAREER he has been a better player, and that's all that matters. And for those who wanna say KG has had a better Career then Timmy, I point to the 2 rings, 2 finals MVP and 2 Leauge MVP's, and the 7 first round exits of KG.

I know what he means, Sometimes Dunking Just looks soo good, Like lasy year when he did that little shake and bake crosver between his legs, Or when he ripped the rebound down on a missed free-thorw to secure the game which nearly popped the ball he grabbed it so hard, Sometimes i to get excited with what timmy Does, Some say having a 45 inch Leap and free-throw 360 dunks are exciting, But at the end of the day that doesnt win rings, and Tim can be fun to watch, I love watching him, If you do get bored while watching a spurs game..?, Then just keeps your eyes on Manu, Cos at any moment he could go base and jam it, Or he may decide to go straight up over you, Or he may decide to give you a "Jordan" Like lay-up, That guy is explosive!!
Duncan does have a couple commercials he's been in. One for shaving cream with Robinson. His voice wouldn't work to replace Ben Stein's, either. Either way, I think Tim Duncan is the greatest player in the game today. He doesn't try to be too fancy, and the backboard is a good friend of his. And obviously, the NBA agrees. Two time reigning MVP says it all.

duncan is far from boring!!! sorry he doesn't make faces after he dunks, or try to look stupid. its just pisses people off that he's too good as someone else said. he makes the other palyers look dumb. that's why mostly only spurs fans likes tim duncan or if your really a fan of basketball and appreciate his awesome game... it bothers me, how come people like shaq when all he does is run over people and dunk because he's big... i've seen commercials of TD, like the shaving cream, one nba game in PS2 and i live in so. cal too! duncan is great who cares if people thinks his boring
I don't really like Shaq. With the way he plays and is so physically dominate, it's almost cheating, and he puts so much pressure on the refs. I like his wife, though. ;D
I guess us fans spurs can see the "real" game of baskteball, And i agree about hs footwork, I am just watching a recorded video from last year, And DANG, He just is phenomonal, Footwork, His blocking is so precise, His passing accuracy from a big man, His soft yet strong hands, This guy is the greatest in the game, If he keeps this up Works on his shooting, then we are looking at one of the top players to ever play the game, To me?, He already is the best...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
