I first group them by position and then move them into the top 50 list as who I think is the better prospect. It's essentially the same as Kiper's big board except well....it's mine and I rank 50 players instead of 25. Kiper also only ranks seniors. I've included juniors. The one player who has dropped some on my list is Brian Brohm, but not because of his talent. I think his durability has to be a legit concern now after this second injury in less than a year. There has to be worries that he's injury prone. However, I think he's still a top 10 prospect at this point. He was 2nd on my 1st list I made though.

1 Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
2 Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
3 Adrian Peterson* RB Oklahoma
4 Calvin Johnson* WR Ga. Tech
5 Dwayne Jarrett* WR USC
6 Gaines Adams DE Clemson
7 Quentin Moses DE Georgia
8 Brian Brohm* QB Louisville
9 Quinn Pitcock DT Ohio St.
10 Paul Posluszny OLB Penn St.
11 LaRon Landry S LSU
12 Kenny Irons RB Auburn
13 Drew Stanton QB Michigan St.
14 Levi Brown OT Penn St.
15 LaMarr Woodley DE Michigan
16 Frank Okam* DT Texas
17 Jeff Samardzija WR Notre Dame
18 Michael Bush RB Louisville
19 Ted Ginn Jr.* WR Ohio St.
20 Brandon Meriweather S Miami
21 Leon Hall CB Michigan
22 Justin Blalock OL Texas
23 Buster Davis MLB Florida St.
24 Rufus Alexander OLB Oklahoma
25 Ryan Harris OT Notre Dame
26 Adam Carriker DE Nebraska
27 Tom Zbikowski S Notre Dame
28 Robert Meachem* WR Tennessee

I agree with just about all of that although Troy Smith should be in there as he's just been to consistent as of late not to be considered in the top 100.

I'm very high on Brohm. I thought he could give Quinn a run for his money for the top QB. Now that he got hurt again, I agree that the same issue arrives.

Baraka Atkins of Miami is another DE that should probably in on there and I really think Charles Johnson has the potential to be a top 20 pick if he declares as well.

Ohio State lists him at 6'2" which is the same size as Favre and taller than Vick so I think he can be a top 100 prospect. Maybe not a Vince Young type of upside but he does throw a nice ball and has enough height.

I think it'll be worth a good look to see how big he is at the combine.

Thought he all but committed to baseball and was drafted by the Cubs this past June

I did not see Drew Tate of Iowa listed.

Chad Henne is 5th on my list of QBs. I think he's a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick. The no State on the end of Michigan there is simply a typo.

You will not see Drew Tate on the list either. He's 6' even and not a good NFL prospect at all. He's a 6th or 7th round pick at this point.

Smith is at 36.

Atkins has not been very good at pass rushing in the two games I've seen Miami play. I've been disappointed in his play in both games. He honestly doesn't even make my top 10 DE list.

I'm going to be watching Georgia closely the next time they're on my tv. They have a lot of talent on that defense. From the little I have seen, Johnson has impressed me more than Moses. Moses is getting more attention from blocking schemes though which is a mistake.

I have always been told its the bite of the dog not the size of the dog .

Having Ferentz as his college coach will be an asset IMO.

It's not just his size. His other intangibles are favorable either. He doesn't have a strong arm for one. He fit Ferentz's system, but not the NFL.

I think Cason should be higher as well. I have him as the top rated CB as of now. I think he goes 1st round but with DB's a lot rides on their combine.

Cason is 4th on my list right now, but with how well he covered Jarrett and Smith tonight, I have to consider moving him back up. Leon Hall from Michigan stays at the top for me though. I think he is the best cover corner in the nation. He looked great covering Samardzija and Mcknight last week against ND. He covered Samardzija for most of the game and at one point out jumped the bigger receiver on a jump ball. It was perfect coverage. I'm very high on C.J. Wilson too. He leads the nation in INTs and will always be against the opponents top receivers. He contained Jason Hill for most of last weeks game. Hill did break away once for a touchdown grab. Daymeion Hughes had a great game tonight as well. He took an INT back for a TD. Fred Bennett from South Carolina is also having a really good year. This is a very good CB class in my opinion and these players will be fighting for the top position all year.

I agree he has all the tools to be a very good back in the NFL. OU doesn't have a stout offensive line either and he still runs well behind it. To think he had orginally comitted to Texas from what I heard. That meant Peterson and Young would've been in the same backfield last year.

Micheal Bushs stock IMO isnt that high. Comming of the broken leg his stock is going to drop, and Bush and Eric Shelton put up very similar numbers at louisville and Eric was picked in the 2nd round.

Also I think Sidney Rice should be around the top 25.

How can you leave out Chris Leak. He is the most talented QB comming out, but his lack of size hurts him a little, but he is still worth a late 1st round pick.

Also I think QB Jordan Palmer would be worth a early 2nd round pick. He has a strong arm and being the brother of a pro bowler will help his stock.

Bush is a much better RB than Shelton. A lot of people thought he could give Peterson a run for his money for the top RB in the Draft had he stayed healthy. Bush is still likely going in the 1st round. He's a solid prospect even with the injury.

Leak is a Day 2 pick. He under 6 foot and isn't all that athletic. He's just another Florida QB. Outside of Rex Grossman most Florida QB's don't project well to the NFL. Doug Johnson and Danny Warfull (spelling) come to mind. Leak won't come close to late 1st round pick even if he does win the Heisman.

I agree with Palmer though. If he shows consistency and has a good combine he's a guy to keep an eye on.

I listed all underclassmen that I thought would possibly come out this year. There are usually more underclassmen than the number I listed that come out in the draft every year.

This isn't the top 50 college players. It's top 50 draft prospects. Slaton is a sophomore. He's not eligible to come out. Sydney Rice is a redshirt sophomore which means he can come out.

Ray Rice misses the list for me right now. I think he's very talented, but not top 50. He's in my top 10 backs, but not top 5.

Ditto on Chris Leak. I know people want to say well he's playing under Meyer not Spurrier. Remember though, he was recruited to run a Spurrier type of offense.

Sidney Rice is still very raw in his route running and pass catching. He's got phenomenal size and athleticism though. I rank a few wide receivers ahead of him.

Palmer has been very inconsistent this year and he's throwin just as many INTs as he is TDs. I had him 5th on my QB list at first, but I've dropped him. 3 guys are fighting for the 5th spot and he's not one of them right now. It's Chad Henne, Kevin Kolb, and Erik Ainge.
