Why does the site log me out?

And what's the period of inactivity before you have to re-login? If you're making a long post and the site logs you out, does what you write still post to the site, or do I have to make sure I copy my post to my clipboard?

I used this same line over at the "other" site and got an infraction for a "personal attack"!!!

I got an infraction over here (I think it's the only infraction ever handed out, and then they got rid of the infraction right after) for saying "Piss off ya hairy dog's cock".

 

I used to have this problem where I couldn't log in....to repeat what Denny says...clear your cookies and try to log in while pressing the remember me box.

I also have more success using IE over FireFox
