"It's interesting to wonder where Major Wright would be in the Bears' defensive scheme if he hadn't come up limping with a badly pulled hamstring at the end of Dez Bryant's 62-yard punt return for a touchdown in Week 2 at Dallas. With only a little work in training camp and one half of preseason action, the third-round draft pick from Florida was still on the fast track for playing time. The coaching staff worked him in for 14 snaps at free safety in the opening victory over the Lions, leaving him in for the entire drive that included Calvin Johnson's would-be winning touchdown. That's how much trust the coaches had in the rookie. Now Wright is ready to return Sunday in Toronto against the Bills, although it's hard to say if he'll be used on more than special teams. Wright has been informed he will be active, and he's expected to be on the punt coverage unit. Secondary coach Jon Hoke said Wright has been worked into a rotation in practice this week."
