Drury and Lavi have lost complete control of this team and Dolan, instead of firing these two incompetent fools, is going to let Drury destroy this team’s future even more by trading Jones for a useless career AHLer who won’t do anything for us. Jones hasn’t been great, but Jesus Christ, can we figure out a way to fire Labia..I mean Lavi and Drury before this entire team gets traded away and all we are stuck with is Mika, Igor and Fox. Fuck.
To me Jones is a perfect example of a wasted asset. I am not saying he would have ever brought back and great return, but to hold and hold and hold him was a total waste. He should have been moved a few years ago when he maybe was viewed as having potential. Yet again shows how in over his head and afraid Drury is.
Jones had a few opportunities and hasn't done anything special. I don't think he has much trade value, he's small with underwhelming numbers. I will say he's looked better this year but that's not saying much. If Drury can get anything for him take it, the Rangers are already stuck with a small dman who Jones can't surpass offensively.
