In Japan last names come first like in China, but all of the athletes that I know of (mainly baseball) their first name is used first when they are in the USA. (Ichiro Suzuki, Shohei Ohtani) Maybe it is up to the individual, but they default to what is customary for athletes from their country?

I think it's also crazy that at age 39 in his 20th season Chris Paul played (and started) all 82 games (28 minutes per game). That's the second time he has played all 82 games.
