Notice The OFFICIAL 2026 Portland Fire Training Camp Thread……

I like to read the thread title and take a half second to see if it's a subject I'm interested in. If it is, then I click on it and read the op and comments. Oh, but if it's not, I scroll right on by, like I am not interested.

    Official Tom Dundon Prediction Thread!

-Hard to say how good of a job Cronin has done when nobody knows what working under Jody & Co was really like. -Tiago and his guys haven't done much in the way of development and the x's and o's haven't been good, either. For having so many good individual defenders, the team def is not good...

    2026 NBA Draft

Buy a second and get Reed. I think he could be Yang if Yang isn't Yang.

You got 9+ "likes" without using a single stat?! Nice to see observations without relying on a stat to prove it. Thanks for leading the way HCP.

    Donovan Clingan Appreciation Thread

DC is also a pretty crafty passer which I think will be used more as he gets more comfortable. Pryz was a bit of a throwback enforcer, too. DC has what it takes to be one, also. Pryz was the reason I felt like we could draft KD instead of Oden. Not that Pryz was better, but I thought a...

At one point the two teams were a combined 4 of 34...and DC had one of those. Not sure what they finished, I haven't watched the end.

Odds are the ankle injury wasn't too bad and he sat for trade reasons. I look forward to seeing how he fits. With him, Scoot coming back and all the talk about new contracts for Sidy and Love, there has to be some kind of consolidation move coming. Right?

    Way too early trade suggestions

National writer's have had us on the short end of lopsided trades for many years. Some have been almost comical. It's lazy thinking and meant to ingratiate them with big market team's fan's. One thing you have to give Cronin credit for is holding his ground and not caving to any pressure and...

AND...he and Dame are buddies. Just like Grant.

    Way too early trade suggestions

I usually agree with you, but in this case I have to say Jrue. Deni is a better player at this point, but Jrue is a better PG. IMO people are sleeping on Jrue. His best days are behind him, but he is one of the craftiest players in the league. He knows how to get good looks for himself or...

Saldama and Jovic for Grant?! How many firsts are we adding? That seems like a coup for Portland...not that I'm against that.

    Booo!!!

    Yang progress

Get Hansen 10-15 mins a game. Play him next to Rob as much as possible. They compliment each other perfectly. Rob is as good as anybody in the game at erasing teammates mistakes on the def end. Hansen can facilitate some and will only get better at 3 pt shooting. His best trait that I think...

    Way too early trade suggestions

Not exactly a big move, or even medium sized move, but I'd send someone from the end of our bench to Det for Marcus Sasser. I'm tired of hearing the "we already have Scoot, Jrue and Dame" opinion. We lose games because our offense relies on 1v1 scoring and falls apart when it counts. Once the...

    Game Thread 2025-26 GAME #22 - BLAZERS @ CAVS - DECEMBER 3, 2025 - WEDNESDAY - 4:00 PM - KUNP - BLAZERVISION

Seems like Love is getting a lot of criticism when you consider who he is. He goes undrafted and only gets signed as a side note to a two way contract. Now he's a vital piece to the team as a scorer off the bench. He's plays good defense and has the toughness to take and hit some big shots...
