It's Dame's prerogative, this is America after all. Although I do think it's only respectable if he forfeits pay for games missed, or donate it to charity.

"Pick a scenario for the return-to-play plan, and someone has surely heard it already. Bringing back all 30 teams and resuming the regular season is an option. So is bringing back something like 20...
Complacency is a concern. I'm surprised folks are getting pissed like the OP criticized their mom or something. Like it or not, Dame is held to a higher standard. It's his team and he embraces it, but along with that goes some bad with the good.
Rap albums, commercials, international fame...
The two dates that will clear up this question are December 10th and December 30th.
Let me strap on my homer shades and take a look.
Between now and December 1oth (2 weeks from today) we have 6 home games and 1 away.
Home:
OKC (twice)
Chicago
Kings
Lakers
Knicks
Road:
Clippers
Five of those...
A) We've played 5 home games to 11 (soon to be 13) road games.
B) This team has a history of late season rallies.
C) Have yet to see what a Dame, CJ, Melo, Zach, Nurk lineup can do.
This shit aint over.
I don't see him being a pain in the ass. He's 35, this is pretty much his last chance. Dame and CJ aren't the type of egos to clash. I have pretty moderate to low expectations. He hasn't played in a year, I expect some ugly bricks early on. Who knows though, maybe he still has some fire.
