Hollinger: Draft a Bust, Rookies Overrated

He definitely hates us. The season's just started, and we've only played 6 games. It's way too early to analyze statistics, and Hollinger of all people should now that. Williams is playing with poise and confidence, and he definitely appears like a seasoned player.

    Would you rather... (Nets Edition)

Kidd averaging 10 assists. The more balanced our attack is, the less predictable we become. Relying solely on Carter has only worked so much for us. Initiating the offense through Kidd can possibly keep us in games even when Carter's cold. Would you rather have a consistent Krstic or a...

Marbury Jawing Didn't Stop Williams from Scoring

It's not crazy at all. Especially if we play small ball with Kidd, Williams, Carter, and Jefferson out on the floor.

Williams Out Indefinitely with Sprained Wrist

He probably just tweaked his wrist. Nice to know we'll probably have him for the season opener.

Moore promises to return the favor

Moore can be effective, as long as he can help us get some stops on the defensive end.

    Marbury Drops Guard

He's extremely talented. He needs the ball to be effective, like a lot of all-stars, but he isn't provided with the necessary touches on this team.

With the Horses, the Nets Set Out to Run

We are, but fastbreak oppurtunities only arise from the long rebound or a defensive stop. And that's if our bigs are willing to help anchor our defense.

Hassan to see time at at SF & PF

He played big when he was young, right? But I still can't imagine him playing the 4 spot at 6'4". The only possiblity I see of him logging minutes there is if all of the Big Three are on the bench simultaneously.

First ESPN Power Rankings Put Nets at #11

That list is crap. We should be above the Hornets at least. Timberwolves are too high at 20, and the Bobcats are too low at 28. And how the hell are the Jazz placed at 15?

CP3 to surpass Kidd,Nash, and Payton?

All three mentioned will be hall-of-famers (Nash deserving it the least), but it's very possible for Paul to surpass them. I haven't seen a rookie with this much poise, leadership, and intelligence in a long, long time.

    Starting Line Up 06-07

PG: Nate Robinson SG: Mardy Collins SF: Renaldo Balkman PF: Malik Rose C: Jerome James But seriously, everyone agrees on the same lineup. Why don't we change the thread to "who would you like to see start?"

    NJ Nets Survivor

I don't believe John Thomas will be on the roster this season. +Jason Kidd -Jeff McInnis Hassan Adams-3 Josh Boone-3 Vince Carter-4 Jason Collins-3 Eddie House-3 Mile Ilic-3 Richard Jefferson-3 Jason Kidd-4 Nenad Krstic-3 Jeff McInnis-2 Mikki Moore-2 Lamond Murray-3 Bostjan Nachbar-3 Clifford...

Does Kidd Want to Return to the Red, White and Blue?

He's too old. He needs to concentrate on staying healthy so he has keeps his chances of winning a chip.

    Hot Zones of each Net

Yeah, this was posted a couple days earlier in the NBA forum. Nice to see Jefferson's mid-range efficiency. Look at Antoine Wright's; he's cold everywhere. His jumper better improve this season.

Marcus Williams Best PG and Steal of the Draft in ESPN Poll

It appears to be we had the best steal, but we won't know for sure until a couple years from now.
