No more books until after I retire in 2020. I'm hoping to do a "best-of" compilation of 45 years of sports writing in Portland at some point, with updates on what happened with the subject(s) after the story was written. Thanks to all.

We'll be starting podcasts through the Portland Tribune website next month, which I'll be handling. Probably one a week, and some of them will be on the Blazers. Our Tribune staff is small, though, and I'll never be able to focus exclusively on them. But thanks for the compliment.

According to a good source -- my girlfriend -- a request for the book at a library is generally answered promptly, and affirmatively. I still have no answer on ebooks and audio books, though I think the answer will be yes on that as well.

I would only be guessing. Bob was a pretty smart guy who surely wasn't the easiest guy to get along with. He also had some health issues along the way.

The team will definitely be sold. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of period of time. My guess is it would happen before next season, but it could take longer.

It's all about money. There are fewer preseason games now and they want all the home games at Moda Center, where they can make the most money. They still do a caravan around the state with auxiliary people, but not players. That day has long since passed.
