    One month turds

Who is the most important player that needs a bounce back season for the Rangers to be a very good team, Lafreniere, Zibanejad, or Fox. Obviously ideally, they all need to bounce back after down seasons, but if you had to pick the one who is most important, I'd say Fox. As a dman, who plays 20...

The 3rd line is the absolute weakness, and quite frankly isn't good enough. The move to make is get rid of Soucy's ridiculous $3.25M for a 3rd pair/depth dman, and get a solid 3rd liner in here. We don't need Soucy, and adding a solid 3rd liner would lower the potential reliance on...

Even a guy who has been tough on Drury like I have been has to say he had a good day, and it's good for all Rangers fans he did. Even with a NMC for the first five-years (a MNTC for the final two-years), signing Gavrikov for only $7M per is a great move. Finally, a legit partner for Fox, which I...

Big day for Drury is here. There are those that want to see the Rangers never actually try and win, don't make moves at the trade DL, don't sign any FA's, play their average kids up and down the lineup, I don't agree, I'd actually like to see the Rangers try and win. You have to be smart, don't...

    1. McDavid already counts $12.5M against their cap, so we're looking another $6M +/- for them, not $18M +/-. 2. The cap goes up another $4M + before the 26-27 season. 3. Between Arvidsson $4M, Henrique $3M, Ekholm $6M, Walman $3.4M, and Kulak $2.75M that's $19M + off their cap after this season...

I agree with that also, outside of one season he has not had "# 1 overall pick" seasons. One other item of note with Lafreniere, just about every single player on the team had a worse and/or down season this past season, so it might have been more than just a Lafreniere problem. Look, I hope...

I think you know the answer to that question...and no you shouldn't hold your breath...lol.

I don't disagree, IF you can get good value for him go ahead and make a good trade. My point continues to be I wouldn't trade him for pennies on the dollar, that I don't think would be smart, you are better off hoping he'll return to the player he was in 2023-2024 and Sullivan can get the best...

The debate is not whether or not Lafreniere took a step back this past season scoring only 17 goals down from 28 goals the prior season, CLEARLY, he did. The debate as I see it is do you sell low on him for pennies on the dollar, that is where I say no. It makes no sense to me dealing Lafreniere...

The Isles have a competent GM now, not a 90-year-old has been. The Isles will get better quickly, I think. I cannot wait to see what Drury does, my expectations are very low, but I am going to be watching and hoping.

Bennett re-signed with the Panthers, 8 years $8M AAV. Good deal for Florida.

Here's my opinion, I don't like selling low on players, especially young players who just last season scored 28 goals and was maybe our best player in the playoffs, and that's what you are essentially advocating for Panzer. I also am not going to punt on 23-year-old Lafreniere for pennies on the...

The Isles traded Dobson for the 16th and 17th picks, that is a solid move for them, I think. Will be interesting to see what Drury does with Miller.

Agreed, Lafreniere has proven he can get it done, look at last season. Trading him away at low value is not smart. Also, Kakko has never shown anything like what Lafreniere did, so I think these are two very different situations.

Exactly, he's not going to get good value for Lafreniere right now, which is why I wouldn't trade him. Things usually don't work out in your favor when you sell low. Your best bet with Lafreniere is to hope/expect improvement with a new coach and hopefully a rededication to hard work. We know he...
