What if we bench Yi, and start boone at pf instead....

I agree that Yi is not getting it done. But against the Jazz he played only 17 minutes and had a plus/minus rating of +7. He was not the cause of that loss. Coach Frank thinks Trenton Hassell is the best choice as the Nets crunch time PF.

Eddie Gill back with the 14ers in D-League

Now that Boone is back, it's time to send Williams to the D League.

    Where's Michelle Beadle?

A girl who's willing to announce her weight on the air, that's a keeper.

    Post Knicks Thoughts...

I think the Nets should send Williams to the D League. They have enough bigs that he isn't needed right now. He needs a lot of coaching and game experience. It's better than having him sit on the bench here.

    Looks like done deals

Najera is a good addition. He hustles, plays D and has a good attitude. He can compete with Simmons, Hassell, CDR, Hayes and maybe even Anderson and Yi for playing time. Since the Nets now will get offense from C (Lopez) and PF (Yi, Anderson), they don't need a star at SF. The next move might...

Will we be the worst team in the league?

If the Nets didn't have any draft picks this year, would they be not rebuilding? If you brought back the same group that ended last season, and then subtracted only RJ, how much worse would the team be? I will be surprised if the Nets end up with a worse record than last season. I think a...

    Possible trade with Charlotte Bobcats?

This trade idea is so bad I'm surprised anyone is taking it seriously. First of all, people are severely underrating Carter. He's an All-Star caliber player. His productivity is comparable to Paul Pierce, the best player on the NBA champs. Carter is no Michael Jordan, and he's not close in...

can Sean Williams defend small forwards?

If so, it could work well to play him at SF with sweet shooting Yi or Anderson at PF. It would be reminiscent of the Martin/Van Horn pairing.

Okay, all is well now. I'm just going to pretend they took CDR at #21 and Anderson at #40.
