41 year old Ortiz goes yard again for a 3 run shot. With over 60 games remaining he's now got 25 HRs & 84 RBI while batting 330. Currently he's on pace for 41 HRs 128 RBI & 67 doubles. At 41 years old. So much for skills deminishing as you get older.

It looks like a beautiful park, only sadly its not hitter friendly. I think Bonds was the last Giant to hit 30+ HRs as a Giant.

And with the way DiDi has been playing & Mateo waiting in the wings I don't see how we really needed another SS. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that the moves were made but I'd have preferred a starting pitcher. or a future 3rd baseman.
